Let us take a look at the features of the Sea Eagle 330. This is a 2-person inflatable kayak that weighs 26 pounds and has a 500-pound load capacity, which is very impressive by itself. It is constructed with an extra-thick, puncture-resistant K-80 polykrylar hull material, that makes it extremely durable. The kayak’s nine-inch tubes, I-beam construction, and high-frequency welded seams all add to its stability in the water and durability in all types of weather. It is NMMA certified and rated up to Class III whitewater, which means it can handle river rapids with the Class III specifications. This alone bumped it’s grade up several notches in our Sea Eagle 330 Review.
A nice additional feature is the self-bailing drain valve that removes the water from the bottom of the kayak with minimal physical exertion on the part of the paddler. It has 3 deluxe one-way valves that allows for easy inflation without the air leaking out. The three inflated chambers in port, starboard and floor can keep the raft afloat for a while even if one chamber is punctured. There are also lashed down inflatable spray skirts that somewhat protects the paddler from waves. The two skegs on the bottom are designed for better tracking and speed.
The Sea Eagle 330 interior measures 13 inches wide by nine feet, six inches long, while the exterior measures 34 inches wide by 11 feet, two inches long. The kayak comes with a pressure gauge, repair kit and bow and stern grab line for a complete set. It can be assembled and inflated in around 6 minutes.
Sea Eagle 330 Review - Customer reviews for the Sea Eagle 330:
It was easy to set up with the foot pump. It took 35 to 40 pumps to fill each of the 3 chambers, and no air escapes from the one way valves AT ALL. Then it’s just a couple of pumps each for the spray shields, and 4 to 5 pumps for each of the 2 seat chambers, also with one way valves, and you’re ready to fish. – A kid’s review

Inflation is simple, the bag properly stores everything you need, and the fit and finish of the boat are superb. In its time I have taken my Sea Eagle on calm lakes and rivers in the south numerous times without incident, but I have also tested it a fair amount. We have run it on Section III of the Chattooga in SC including Bull Sluice and also on the Nantahala including the Falls. – Evan Gilbert

The Sea Eagle 330 is a high performing tandem kayak that it easy to set up and can handle whitewater of up to Class III. We like that it has two bottom skegs for better tracking and maneuverability in the water. The one-way air valves also make this kayak easy to inflate because no air escapes while you’re pumping into it.
